The Mississippi Valley League teams of Keokuk produced the following
major leaguers: |

Joe Becker played for the Keokuk Indians
in 1929, and played for the Cleveland Indians in '36 and '37, then went
on to become a minor league coach. |
|
Keokuk's catcher in 1932 was Ken O'Dea.
He played professionally for the Cubs in 1935-38, as well as the New
York Giants, and finished with St. Louis Cardinals in 1946. |
|
A key player on the 1931 championship team was Roger
Wolff. He eventually pitched for the Philadelphia Athletics,
Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians, and Pittsburgh Pirates in the
1940s. |
